About Sporting Pigs Hog Roasts

Services:
Hog Roasts at events in Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire. The meat is cooked on our farm inside our hog roast machine and transported to your event 1-3 hours before serving. The hog roast can be carved directly from the back of the machine, or alternatively as shown above, the pig can be carried in a large stainless steel tray and become the centrepiece of your catering either inside or outside all year round.

Machine Hire: Do you have a pig that you want to cook yourself? You can hire our hog roast machine for as little as £120.00 including gas and delivery.

Maybe you would prefer a lamb roast? Whatever your needs, we will be pleased to offer a competitive quote to cater at your event.

After a big BBQ? We can cater for up to 150 people with sausages, burgers, chicken and other cuts on our machine.

Please contact us to discuss the requirements for your event.

About our Pigs:

Where do our pigs come from?
We buy all our pigs from an outdoor unit in rural Suffolk when they are 20 weeks old. We transport the pigs ourselves in our own trailer to ensure that they receive the best care at all times.

Where are our pigs kept?
Our pigs are kept in large and spacious straw yards on our Cambridgeshire farm and are adlib fed, meaning that they have a constant supply of food and water. The pigs are cared for by the farm workers in our modern surroundings.

What are our pigs fed on?
We buy in food from our nationwide suppliers, who are one of the main supplier of the industry in this country.
The food consists predominantly of cereals.

How long have we been looking after pigs?
Pigs have been kept on our Cambridgeshire farm for three generations.
In recent years we have modernised our buildings and increased the size of the yards meaning that the relatively small herd of pigs we currently own enjoy very spacious and well catered for surroundings.

Prices Guide

Prices are quoted for individually and will be based on your personal requirements. As a guide, the price will be between £3 - £10 per head, depending on the number of guests, location and required serving duration.

Please contact us so that we can cater for your individual needs and supply you with an accurate quotation.

Due to the fluctuation in the markets and therefore our costs, we can only offer an accurate quote for events within 6 months. For events that are further away than that, firstly, well done for being ultra-organised, and secondly, we will be very pleased to give you a rough outline for a quote which will be subject to change.
